saying is not enough you have to prove it in court.like this everyone will say about this I am receiving calls .you have to prove every circumstance in court.you have to give cogent evidence in court.the onus is on you to prove about the threatening calls being received

You need to have prima facie evidence, and make complain to local police that you are receiving threats, and police shall investigate. In the event you do not have the evidence, even then you can go to local police station and complain. In the event you are a witness in some court proceedings and you receive threats in respect of same, it becomes a grave offence, which can be complained to local police as well as to the court concerned.

It would entirely be your responsibility to prove that you have received the threat from a particular person and if mere saying would have been enough then even Prime Minister of the Country would have been made an accused my mere saying.

If you are receiving threats from someone you must lodge an FIR in this regard with the Police and it would then be the responsibility of the police to find evidence of the same for which you must render all assistance to the police. The fact that you would have lodged an FIR in this regard would then make a strong case for consideration of your oral evidence in Court in this regard since your statement will be corroborated by the fact that you also lodged an FIR in this regard.
