Hi, I'm 50 years old and I separated from my family one year ago, I stayed with a family as per their request and as the family was in deep debt and in a suicide stage, I tried helping them by paying their rent, groceries, bills etc. And they supported me in coming out of my depression and giving suggestions. I stayed with them almost 9 months and they have taken approximately 5 lakh rupees and now they are threatening that they will file a case on me that I misbehaved with his wife - not true

hi what was the mode of paying amount to them whas it through cash or online mode and any promissory notw was made and then you could file a suit for recovery of money and if there is any omplaint against you then you could also file quash petition to quash the FIR

better go for a police case on the ground that they cheated you for obtaining money by fraud. and produce the transactions with the report. be the first de facto complainant. only by taking cheating as a ground
