If a false and misleading FIR has been registered against you and your family members then you can always go for quashing of the same before the HC of the concerned state where the FIR is registered. And if there's no scope of living together then rather stretching the relationship you should file for contested divorce under the ground of cruelty. I would suggest you to go with mutual divorce because it's cost effective and ends up in a maximum of six months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Greetings to you. Legal advices can best be given only after going through the complaint but yet, the first advice that I can give you would be to not keep your hopes too high as the degree of proof that would be required to be proven before the court for quashing would be too high and often the court shows reluctance but yet, as I said, it depends of the nature of complaint and the kind of evidences which you may do have to prove your innocence. If you like to have a legal consultation to know if you should proceed ahead with what you have planned and you deem me worthy enough to guide you, please feel free to contact. Regards

Quashing can be done on merits or on the basis of compromise. On merits it’s only possible if you have conclusive evidences in your defence. So first you need to understand whether the case is quashable or not ! Anyways u need to hire expert advocate in this regard Kindly b in touch
