Got into a fight and broke person's nose now he filed a complaint

I had a minor Fight with a person and i broke his nose (minor) as he was drunk and abusing my family. Now he Registered an F.I.R and the police summoned me to come to jail? can they arrest me? shall i go to police or run away and show up in the court? plz help I am afraid as what i did is just hit of the moment... plz tell me how to deal with the case?

In any case severity of the offence can only be opined after seeing the FIR . But if Police is calling you then you should go after consulting a local lawyer. .. ...

What is the allegations and offence under the provisions of Indian penal code. Are those offence are non available? Are those offence are try ble by court of sessions? If yes then file anticipatory bail .if no then police can give bail

Dear client,
Police summoned you to appear before him not send jail. Police issue notice under section 41 crpc. Dont fear consult advocate.As per the supreme court direction police can not arrest any person in any offence below 7 years punishment.

Get the copy of FIR from concerned Court and apply for anticipatory bail in the high court and u can get regular bail by the direction of high court.

You have not mentioned whether that person has sustained blood injury or not and first of all you must know under which sections of ipc case has been registered against you.You should engage a lawyer of your choice to handle the matter.
