Given money to someone 1 year back and did’nt returned back

I have given 2L money to my friend’s friend on 27/02/2022, he had to invest in somewhere and he said to give us a profit in a week to a month. But nothing happend as such, with so much of my msgs and call he sent me a fake transfer receipt of 2.5L in the month of may then started making fool that it will be credited in 3days , account problem and bank close then i get to know that its fake, he didnt trander anything, and then i called, did msgs, most of the time he cut my call and give excuses that he is busy and call me back but nothing happend,we mostly had conversation on whatsap only, with lots of doing this he give me 40K on 1/07/2022, now after that he started giving excuses, his personal issue, about his money got stuck somewhere that why he is not able to give my money, these are the excuses iam listening. Please give me the legal advise to take my money back
