I am a resident of BSNL WMS compound, Jayanagar, and I am concerned about the increasing number of stray dogs and the feeding activities within the compound. Several children have been bitten, and some women knocked unconscious due to dog attacks. raised this issue with the Estate officer/Association/BBMP/Animal Welfare Board, no action has been taken. We seek legal guidance on actions we can take and clarity on the role of our local association, as they continue collecting maintenance fees with

Dear sir/ma'am In this regard Both departments has here own guidelines for Stray Dogs as per the guideline they all act upon in your case they didn't anything better you knock the Door of HC with the all documents. It might be resolved. Thank u

Dear Sir, It is a problem all over Bengaluru. Better to find out a Senior Advocate to file PIL before High Court and get some positive orders against BBMP and Animal Welfare Board in respect of scene created by stray dogs which are dangerous to many citizens in Bengaluru City.

Hi. Hope you are doing well. So, regarding the legal issue posted, you  should consider giving a complaint to the local BBMP health inspector. In the event no action is taken, you should consider filing a Complaint against such inaction to the Lokayukta per law. They would then register the Complaint and do the needful as per law . Consult for further clarifications if any. Thank you.
