Friend tried to kill me by mixing poison in my drink

I was spiked in a drink of butter milk containing some very poisonous substance by one of my friend in his house in the month of june after which i was hospitalised. I filed a police complain . The police did called the Accused. Now the aaccused will never accept. Now what next should i do. After the incident i have health issues.
Hi if the police are not helping you can file complaint to senior officers like ACP, DCP, Commissioner or registering your case you can file private case to criminal court, the court will make order and police will force to file your FIR and proceed

When u were hospitalised the cause of you condition must be mentioned in it . You can file a FIR against the person with support of medical report for attempt to murder , causing graveions and breach of trust . Police have to do enquirer and prepare a report which will be produced in the court.

You can file writ petition in high court for change of investigation agency.
Once the new agency takes over the investigation then you will have better chance to prove the crime committed against you by your friend.
