Here’s the process: Supply of Documents: After the charge sheet is filed, the court ensures that all accused are provided with copies of the charge sheet and other relevant documents as per Section 207 of the CrPC. This step may take a few days to weeks. Appearance of All Accused: All six accused must appear before the court. For those on bail or anticipatory bail (ABA), their presence is mandatory unless exempted by the court. Arguments on Charges: The prosecution and defense will argue on whether prima facie charges are made out against the accused. This stage depends on how promptly the parties present their arguments.
