16-Oct-2025 (In Criminal Law)
Incident happened on 24feb 2025. FIR was registered with BNS 118(2),115,351,352,3(5) The accused got bail in 8 days Filling date of FIR was 30 May 2025. First hearing date was 15 july 2025 and case status was awaiting summons Next date was 14 oct 2025 &case status:awaiting summons And now next date is 3 Jan 2026. Why is it taking to issue a summon and frame charge Nearly a year is going to complete for that incident and a summon is not issued yet. Can you help me to understand case?

This is how our legal system operates. Even if you change your Advocate, you may face procedural delays due to high no of similar cases pending in that Court + due to other factors. However still, I can get your case expedited.

As you are Informant in the case, you should file an application before the court to intervene and thereby seek permission to assist the public prosecutor in the case. By doing this you may keep tap on the case proceedings else it will go snails speed
