for $5,000 my lawyer is not doing shit, and I might go to jail !

so I was in a bad place several years ago being homeless but trying to do the right thing. I was going to the doctor and getting a medication to keep me off hard drugs and it was working great. however it's expensive and I couldn't afford it a few weeks. so a friend of my sisters told me her brother would help me get my prescription filled if I gave him a few. so I did and I got three charges of felony distribution. I'm not a drug dealer there's a reason I've gone 34 years without getting in trouble it's because I don't do that kind of shit. I was in a bad spot and this was 4 years ago and I've yet been in any trouble again since. however my lawyer says the best he can do is 67 days in jail. there's got to be some other way this is my first offense, I have a full-time job I'm doing all the right things. if I go to jail this could ruin the rest of my life and push me over an edge I cannot return. please help me what should I do
