FIR QUASHING COMPLAINTANT ALSO AGREED TO QUASH THE FIR

HI,nwhile we were on college some fight happened between seniors and one of them filed a FIR against 7 of us, the case was on sessions court since 10 years. NOW 5 of us is abroad and complaint person also, what are the ways to QUASH the FIR and further proceedings, can we get a one time settlement from HC, is there an online posting available for such cases as the complaint person is ok withdrawing everything. For FIR quashing does everyone needs to make an appearance or the resected advocate only required, is there a possibility of submitting a compromise settlement document by the complaint person to honorable court to stop further proceedings.

I can help you with the case. For quashing of an FIR, only the Advocate is required to be present in the Madras High court. Litigants need not come to court. We can produce the compromise memo signed by the complainant as evidence before the Madras High court to get the FIR quashed
