Filed a false case, Police referred it as false can I quash it?

03-Apr-2023 (In Criminal Law)
A false case (FIR) was registered on my friend and his family members in a local police station (Sections: IPC_420, 406, R/W 34). The case was a private compliant (proceeded to Police state through court). My friend approached respective district SP (in a weekly Public Grievances program) and shown all the relevant evidences and got the case referred as FALSE (Concern DSP signed a copy saying that the case was FALSE). During the process my friend faces LOT OF EMBARASSMENT, MENTAL TORTURE & SOCIAL ISOLATION. So, can he Quash the FIR & file a DEFAMATORY case against those who filed the FALSE/ FAKE Compliant to TORTURE my friend ? If he can file, How much compensation he can ask?

hi if the FIR is still pending then he could file a quash petition in high court to quash the FIR as it is all based on false and fake allegations and that after the case is over he could initiate necessary proceedings

case has been referred as false and hence, there is no necessity to initiate any quash proceedings in this matter. your friend is entitled to get compensation from the complainant who lodged the false case.
