If you the complainant in the case then you are not duty bound to attend all the court dates. Your advocate can take care of them. And if you are not interested in continuing the case then it’s advisable for you to just withdraw the case or you can go to mediation and settle it down. there is nothing that can happen against you for non appearance but for being on a safer side it would be better if we file an affidavit in court stating teh reasons that we wish to withdraw the complaint so that the matter may be disposed off and you won't have to attend anymore.

if you are in trouble or there is something because of that you are not able to attend the court date than your advocate will tell you situation to the court and will file an application with the reason because of that you are not able to attend the court. under these section case is compoundable so just let the court know that now you are not want to proceed the matter and everything thing is good between both parties, court will dismiss the case.
