File Criminal Defamation on Wife

Hello Lawyers. I want filing Criminal defamation on my wife for calling me as impotent. I went to local police they said I need to go directly court, they can not directly lodge the FIR. I am ready to go to upper level of officer as I want to lodge FIR. If I google search for sections n IPC codes I get results ( https://bit.ly/3lI6Ag1 ) but as I tried to look for judgements I could not find any.
1. Can someone please help me to share the judgement link? I need judgement where it states that calling man impotent is criminal offence.
2. What need to be done if Police do not file the FIR.?

calling impotent is not a criminal offence moreover if u do not wish to live with your wife anymore you can file a case for divorce in the family court on the curelty ground seeking divorce and can get divorce easily on that ground

You will have to file a private case against your wife before the nearest magistrate court understand section 200 of criminal procedure code. You may also file defamation calling upon her to pay certain amount of compensation, provided that you have all the proofs to prove the allegations.
