File case u/s 340 against a lady & her husband for filing false case

Hi, a lady filed a false molestation case against my friend by tieing up with cops. During trial she and her husband disposed contradictory statement about time and place of registering the FIR in comparison to statement given by IO in Court. Does the contradiction qualifies for registering a case against them us 340. If yes what is the procedure?
This s not enough you have to give more reasons if the case is to be disposed off.Many clients, if they give reasons that by mistake they have given this time as they had not remembered the date and time.

No, because her husband deposed the contradictory statements about the incident occurred, not the wife. if she deposed wrong then in that you may sue her for levelling the false and vexatious case against.
