False FIR- Employment And Govt Job Eligibility
16-Aug-2023 (In Criminal Law)
A false FIR has been filed under my name with IPC 147,323,504,506 , where it is written that I have abused and beaten along with a death threat . Chargesheet has been submitted in session court. Compromised is going to happen soon in next month in court. I want to know after that will I be eligible for govt Class A jobs and Visa permits.
Namaste,
First of all, the offences mentioned are all bailable offences. In a way, it is better that none of them are non bailable offences.
For CLASS A Government Jobs (UPSC)
1.You may have to declare if a criminal proceeding is against you. You are eligible for the exam post this declaration.
2. However if selected, a Police Verification is ordered. If the case is still pending, it may create issues.
Visa Permits
1 It depends on the country giving the VISA permit.
2. Again, they will check for Criminal Record. It can be allowed in most cases if the offences are not grave.
3. It means that drug cases, non bailable offences are a straight ground for rejection.
I hope it answers your query.
