My brother in law(my wife brother) wife has made a complaint at police station under section 498a, 406 and dv, in the month of may 2017 The following fact are true My brother in law( my wife brother) and his wife have not been living together since 5 days after marriage that is january 2014, she has left her matrimonal house in march 2014 , its been almost 3 yaers and six months have passed, I am a govt employee and have been living with my family in different city, now my brother in wife files police complaint under section 498a and dv against me and my wife her mother in law at police in the month of may 2017, police are calling us to give the statement 1) what should we do, 2) do we need to worry and apply for AB immediately. 3) my brother in law is an NRI and has never visited india since 5 days after marriage.
What I understood is that your brother-in-law's wife has lodged a DV complaint against you, your wife and her mother-in-law. Right?
If you get call from women cell then do go there and get ur statements recorded. Unless there is any any FIR against you; anticipatory wont be required.

You need not to worry nor you need to apply for AB, as the Honourable SC has issued directions to the police to grant bail in the cases of 406, 498a, .
