Since you are writing this , I assume you have it been arrested yet. Get a copy of the FIR. I suggest that you Appoint a lawyer and apply for an anticipatory bail application to the Court of sessions.

You must file an ABA first and take pre arreste bail. And then search the reason why se might have done this and gather evidence to protect yourself. Her statement can be considered as dying declaration. You guys will be in big trouble.

First of all see whether there is an FIR registered against you. Police tend to file an FIR in such cases even if the person who attempts suicide does not die. Also, in such cases the person who attempts to commit suicide also commits an offence punishable u/s 309 of the IPC. A case has to be filed against her too.

Seek anticipatory bail if there is an FIR against you.

Dear client, unfortunately in our law dying declaration is considered as important proof, but if case stands depends on police the statement s given by her parents are also important. If you discuss with lawyer or me can get idea or solutions of it.wish you all the best.
