False accusations of car stealing

I paid the down payments and emi of the car which is under someone else ,I was late to pay one month emi and he filled case against me that I have stolen his car. In fact he have not spent a single money. I made a mistake that I was paying for his car. What should I do now.

Okay, i have read your query related your case and if someone don’t have any evidence regarding the same and no recovery from you so then the prima faci case is maintainable and you will easily get from this situation. If you need any help we can advice you accordingly.

If the case has already been registered against you then you must prepare all your evidence and submit it before the court in the form of your written statement which will be filed against the petition that is being filed by the opposite party.

You need to hire expert advocate to defend yourself with all the payments of emi and also preserve all challans n cctv of the car being in your possession including all electronic evidence Plz b in touch

there are two pertinent questions over here. If you have been paying the emi then in whose name the car is registered ? if it is registered in the name of the person owning it then do you have any transaction to prove that you have paid the emi of the car? the case of stolen property must have been filed as an FIR and I belive that car must be in your possession hence there will be an FIR against you. kindly clarify before proceeding any further
