False Accusation and Lawyer not helping with proceedings

I was falsely accused for section 307 in Dec 2017. In the last 6 years the case has made no progress as the lawyer fails to appear at the court mostly due to medical reasons. I have paid the lawyer well in advance for quashing which has not been filed at all. Do i have the right to get my money back from the lawyer?

Yes, you can file a case against your lawyer of Professional Misconduct, if he had not executed and accomplished your legal tasks despite seeking Professional fees from your end intentionally with an intent to defraud you.
