Fake report under section 69 of BNS
27-Jun-2025 (In Criminal Law)
I have never met this woman in person, but I did promise her marriage over Instagram chats. There was no physical relationship, no meetings, and I never shared my phone number with her our interaction was limited solely to Instagram messaging. She is from Gujarat, while I reside near the UP/Delhi region. I blocked her approximately four months ago. Under these circumstances, is it possible for her to file a false complaint under BNS Section 69? How can I be safe?
There is no solid proof with her that can land you in trouble under section 69. But to be on the safer side it's advisable for you to get a complaint drafted mentioning all the facts of your case and address the same to the police station according to your jurisdiction. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
Hi,
Matter like this are crucial and time bound. It is important to understand that laws are inclined towards women's.
Fake promises though no sexual intercourse is involved is still liable for punishment under many other sections and can even sue you for many miscellaneous allegations favouring women.
It is always advisable to safeguard yourself from such false allegations on immediate basics. Can advise you more precisely on discussion table.
