Fake profile created in matrimony and took away money

A guy had faked his profession and all the details in matrimony and took few lakhs from me and asked to transfer the money to others account. Transactions were through net banking. i have lodged FIR. he had returned 95 percent of the amount and told remaining amount he will return it in the coming month. The police arrested him before that. After arrest I got to know that he was married since two years and his profession and all the details are fake except the photo he has sent was genuine. My concern is now I want to close the case or withdraw case because I am unmarried and getting other proposal and this case could probably be a problem in future. Since all the evidences except his photo

Dear Madam, You may get close FIR by requesting the police to file B report. If you want compensation you may insist for the same from the Accused and the police may be requested accordingly. If not agreed you can ask the police to file charge sheet.

if fir registered against him kindly follow up the case and recover the amount otherwise he might escape from law and don't get compromise or settle the matter until pays you with compensation or damages, beware of such fraud and better take advise from advocate and monitor the case.
