Fake Evidence by the opposite lawyer

07-Jul-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Fake evidence if giving by the opposite party. He/she hurted herself at her/his house and imposed a fake case of criminal without any proof. Is there any law or section to come out from this and win the case?

Section 191 of the Indian Penal Code explains that giving false evidence means a person bound by oath or express provision of law, to tell the truth, makes a false statement or a statement that he doesn't believe to be true or believes to be false. It can be regarded as Perjury. Section 195A of Indian Penal Code the act must amount to threatening another with an injury to his person, reputation or property.

Dear Sir, Such instances are more and more. You may directly approach High Court under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code and get stay order on such investigation and then get it quashed. Whenever such proceedings ended in quashing then you can file defamation case claiming huge compensation.
