Fake case of cheque bounce filed on wife by colleague

15-Sep-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Hello, This is related to wife, in 2011 one of his colleague stole her signed cheque (Don't know when and how) and in 2015 he filled his name, amount and date by himself and submitted the same in name and which got bounced. I recently received a summons from court in which he mentioned she took a friendly and committed to do payment via cheque. Due to some office they both had headed arguments in office and my wife did resign from that office in 2011 on suggestion of parents as he was giving threat to her and she was so scared. After 2011 she never met with that guy and even didn't have any type of communication. This is totally fake case which he filled against her but he followed all the process in cheque bounce case. please suggest what should be next steps or action needs to be taken.

First and foremost task is to take a bail from the concerned court. You are suppose to file a reply of his allegation. You have to fight against that man. May be he has done this just to put a pressure on your wife. Don't worry. Revert me. All the best.

What are the allegations levelled by her colleague ? Please give full account of the allegations . Whether any legal notice was served upon her by the lawyer under the N.I. Act ? Sir, the only option before your wife in these circumstances is to contest the case and put forth all the evidence and arguments that support her case. Aspects of evidence in particular will be crucial to defeat the case and will require specialised assistance
