Fake Case 504, 506 By Neighbour

My neighbour reported a fake case. Case is under IPC 504 and 506. From 7 years this case is running in civil court. From 7 years going to date but the opponent never appeared. When notice sent to him. His advocate represent the application in the court. From 7 years the opponent is saying that he will close the case by compromising but he is not doing everytime he just give excuses, he is asking to prepare compromising paper and we did after providing the paper to him eveetime he just find the mistake to correct like sometime he says change this line,change this word.7 to 8 times we corrected the paper still he has the problem. He is torturing us. I am post graduate and my career is just ruin due to of this case. Please suggest what to do in this case. What will be the best action to do in this? I want to out from this. My career is just finished due to this case. Please advise what to do?
