EXPERT OPINION REQUIRED, FORGERY CASE

Hello respect members and practitioners of law. My boss tells me to take delivery of things from businesses and take the product to the other party (Customers). I have never committed any frod but my boss is supposed to sign the document that I give to business and customers both and most of the times he is not in the city and so I sign instead of him, is this a crime? I fulfill my duty without any wrongdoing and no frod takes place but signatures are not his but mine. Can I get in trouble? If yes, what will be the maximum punishment? I recently found out signing for others is frod. I will not do it further but what about the ones I already did.

Better particulars are required to give our considered opinion on your legal issue. The issue seems to be a very serious One with penal consequences. Do take a detailed consultation from a criminal lawyer as apparently its an offense under the relevant provisions of IPC.

You need To het an SPA or GPA drafted via any advocate stating that your boss has allowed you to sign on such delivery of products and for any breach or fraud he will b liable for the same ..! B in touch thanks

yes, it is a case of forgery punishable under section 468, 471, 420 IPC etc. the maximum punishment for such crime is 10 years with fine or both. committing forgery by signing the signatures of boss is a crime.
