eow wrongful charge against franchise

I had tried to do a business by taking on a franchise offer of a company. the company had a new online concept and did promotions all india and people from allover started depositing money in our a/c. we thinking that company is successful and wl grow, dis as instructed and forwarded all money to their master franchise a/c. but in abt 10 mnths we suspected the foul happening and sent an email of surrender/withdrawal. then after few month the company went bust. there was an eow inquiry , we also were called and we gave all facts. now eow is saying we can be arrested and to take anticipatory bail. we dont want to as no single person had any complaint against us in the last 9 yrs. & during our short tenure the company was flourishing and paying all investors. how can we fight eow?
