Drive and drink license suspension

30-Nov-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I had been caught first time for drink and drive in Bangalore and had the paid the fine through virtual court. I'm from Tamil Nadu. They are informing that they will give a acknowledgement slip which I will have to show it to my state RTO and collect the licence after a month. Will my license be suspended in the RTO ?

Dear Sir, Yes, in drunk and drive cases if you are unknown to Police and could not influence them then they will suspend your driving license for a minimum of 30 days. Thus, you have to collect your DL from the concerned RTO of your State. Now, it has been very strict to implement those rules.

Is your license already issued or you have been only issued with the Learner's licence.? And yes, what is the amount of fine you have paid into the court..? Generally you can pay and apply for the licence for the next time.
