DL seized because of drink and drive

My driving license was seized on the basis of drink and drive. It's been a week and they are not issuing challan. Every time, I go to PS, they mention that you will receive payment link and pay the penalty and take your DL. Its been a week and I'm been harassed. I was driving with my family when they caught me. Also, can I drive in this situation, as I don't have a physical copy of my DL and no penalty charges has been assigned to me.

hello sir onces they seized your driving licence the case will be forwarded to Regional transport office (RTO) . Do, approach the Rto office and pay the fine if not summon will be serve to you, you can contest the case in court. all the best
