Can a judicial magistrate refer a case to ED ( Enforcement Directorate ) to investigate money laundering done by Builder ?

hello client as i can see your issue is serious as you have askwd tge question the here about taking up a case by ED it is not the veatws power of district magistrate it is the power of high court or supreme court or th government if the state to direct ed to take up tge case.

Yes they can be. I am an advocate for Delhi Police and there are instances and judgements where have done and undone those acts. What is your case about ? Message the details for any further clarification.

NO. Magistrate doesn’t have the power to refer cases to any agency for investigation rather it’s only the high court that can do this. Magistrates haven’t been vested with such wide powers. But yes ED can register case on the basis of that complaint.
