Discharge petition - Do i need to file a discharge petition in t court

20-Oct-2023 (In Criminal Law)
A case was filed against me along with some others. FIR was filed under sections 324 & 342 of CrPC. But on enquiry police have removed my name in the chargesheet as prime facie was not found agaist me. Is it now i have completely left out from the case or do i need to file any discharge petition in court to get so ?

hi since your name is not listed in charge sheet, there is no necessity for filing a discharge petition separately. there is no case against you at all against you and no need to worry. you need to wait till judge takes cognizance of chargesheet..
