Defamation case against society committee

I want to know if I can lodge a defamation case against the society committe for sharing my CCTV footage on telegram group without my consent and defaming me and my family

If you are defamed by the acts of other and you have got proofs to substantiate your claim then you may for at send a legal notice to the party calling upon him to stop from defaming you, to tender apology and to compensate you failing which you are free to take legal action.
