If a unknown person commented on my instagram post -"Tum Takla hai" Can I sue him for offensive comment..

Yes…you can sue him/her under section 499 IPC that is defamation. You need to serve him/her a legal notice regarding your grievances and telling him/her that what he/she had done is against law and is a punishable offence. You can also write a complaint to the police station of your area. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

yes if any anyone comments on your social media post some defamatory comments..you definitely have the right to sue that person. you can sue him against defamation which comes under the Indian penal code.

That's defamation. you can sue him for damages/ compensation as well as file a criminal complaint under sec. 500 IPC before magistrate in your concerned district court. In order to know how to do it you have the option to consult me.
