In Indian criminal law, POA means Prevention of Atrocities (SC/ST Act). It signifies that the specific charges filed against A1 under this Act were dismissed due to lack of prima facie evidence as per the concerned provisions of law

“POA” usually means “Process against Accused” or “Proceedings against Accused”. Here, complaint against A1 was dismissed, while cognizance and summons were issued only against A2–A4 as per the concerned provisions of law.

POA Normally stands for Power of Attorney .. it seems that A1 was only POA holder and he has no role to play in offence .so complaint against A1 was dismissed and for other accused cognizance was taken

If it is a criminal complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 pending before a Magistrate Court, and: The entire amount has been paid, You have obtained a written NOC/settlement from the complainant, then the case will not automatically be closed. A compounding/settlement application generally needs to be placed before the Magistrate, and the court must pass an order disposing of the complaint. If the complainant is not cooperating despite giving an NOC, your advocate can: File the NOC and proof of payment on record. Move an application informing the court that the dispute has been settled. Request the court to take up the matter for compounding/disposal based on the settlement. The exact remedy can depend on the stage of the case (summons stage, evidence stage, after conviction, etc.).

you are the Complainant Obtain a certified copy of the entire cognizance order. Verify why A1 was excluded. If aggrieved by dismissal of A1, consider: Revision Petition before the Sessions Court under Sections 438/439 BNSS (corresponding revision provisions), subject to limitation. Challenge the dismissal of A1 if evidence exists against him.
