Complainant's family members valid evidence for 506(2)

If a person has been charged with 506(2) and complainant is having his family as evidence, is this valid evidence to prove the offence?

court will always look at the quality of evidence not the quantity. if your witness is firm in his statement it will definately help you even if he is your family member. but he must be witness to the incident

Yes any evidence especially the eye witness will be much more beneficial in such case. Merely they are family members is not enough to consider the evidence as strong the veracity of it needs to be checked and that can be done in court of law.
