College getting closed in final year of studies

I am in final year of BArch and today we recieved notice that my college will be closing g and will be alloted to another VTU college. I am amidst my final thesis which was approved by my teachers as well. Now if college changes all my work is lost and over that the mental stress I am going through. Can I file case on college? What should I do? My 5yrs or studies is at stake now
