Closure Report by Police in a criminal case

I am the complainant in a criminal case against the accused. In this case, FIR was filed by police on the directions of a court in Delhi ( 156-3). Now, the police has filed a cancellation of FIR/ Closure report in this case in the respective courtWhat should be the next step by me in this situation? nnHow to ensure that charge sheet is filed in this case?nnThanks.

If the police officials had filed a closure report then you will get the copy of the chargesheet which you can always oppose. And it’s also upon the magistrate whether he/she accepts this report or not. If not then he/she will order for further investigation. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

hello client as i can see your issue is really a big concern in this matter we nees to move to high court on the basis of the fir as well as your complaint . as you said clisure report is been filled so we need to move immidiately to protest it and force police to file chargesheet instead if final / closure report.

Gone through your legal issue. Would advise you to seek consultation from a lawyer and brief him. You being a complainant in the matter have a right to challenge the closure report. The magistrate may after considering your objections and considering the material on record may direct the police authorities to further investigate

In this case, you must move application under section 200 CrPC and show your evidences to the court, if court appreciates your evidences then this case will run likewise a complaint case ..plz b in touch asap

you will have to go through contents of the closure report and check on what grounds has the closure report been submitted. the reason for that is that the police might have found something which has compelled them to file a report stating that there is no need for registering the present FIR for further assistance I would need to look into the closure report that has been submitted and will be able to advise you only after pursuing the same
