Chapter Proceedings after bail, IPC 353 and 269

In the F.I.R anything to do with IPC 353 is false, is untrue, is a lie ACP wants me to sign a bond in which it would say that I will keep peace and not repeat it again. Chapter proceedings Will I go to jail again if I do not sign the bond The ACP is going to take the decision on the 23rd July Please guide me

ipc 353 is Whoever assaults or uses criminal force to any person being a public servant in the execution of his duty as such public servant, or with intent to prevent or deter that person from discharging his duty as such public servant, or in consequence of anything done or attempted to be done by such person in the lawful as if FIR registered against you so need to know details about it for further information contact me

In these circumstances you may go to the high court against the issuance of the notice by police for the chapter proceedings and may after convincing court get stay order. You may also go for FIR quashing if you have proofs to buttress allegations

Yes, you have to sign a Bond to maintain Peace. Without signing the Bond, they will not let you go scot free. You must have breached Public Peace & have obstructed Police Officer from performing its Duty as a Public Servant.
