Capitation fees and legal advise.is it a criminal offence

I would like to know what is the punishment given for accepting and giving capitation fees in a medical college for getting admission.is there any law against it.
Dear Sir,
The Government is playing with the future of students by saying they would be no capitation fees. On the other hand the institutions are allowed to collect capitation fees in cash or in unaccounted manner. It is a big scam which cannot be curtailed by individual student. You may discuss the burning issue in person with any legal expert with. appropriate evidence having paid such capitation fees.

you can file a case if you have sufficient documentary evidence to prove the same. You can lodge police complaint against the wrong doers or PCR before Majistrate court and take action against them. You can even write letter to Health Minister and PM
