Cant see my case online nor have been provided with any papers

My wife has filed 498a case against me and my parents around 1 year back. I have visited the district court on the appearance date mentioned in the bail paper. But I did not receive the charge sheet yet and my lawyer has told me that police has filed it to court and court is preparing the chargesheet and they will provide you it on 9th Sep 2017. But I did not visit the court by person , all I have heard it from my lawyer which is stucking to my mind because of underlying issue: 1. Why I can't see any case info against my name in e-court south 24 parganas west bengal website? 2.why chargesheet has not been handed over to me? Moreover my lawyer did not allow me to enter in the court so I suspect on him whether he is planning for something to pull more money from me. I am confused. Kindly suggest.

We handled so many people in Court similar to you, who believe that, in each and every occasion he appear before the Court, and he will tell something before the Court etc. etc. Remember it that, Court is not Panchyet Office, where people can spoke as he thought or watch in the Movies or TV Serials. it is far away from the Movies or Serials. It is a real one. Now I come to your point.
Firstly I tell you your Ld. Lawyer did not mislead with you because, 1. until or unless the Case is transfer from Police Court (G.R. File) to Court File (Personal File) you can not see your Case in e-court Register. Because, there is so many case registered when a person either produce before the Court or by way of Surrender, these are not enlisted in Computer Section. therefore, until it will enlisted in Computer Section, you did not see it. Wait you will see it, but prior that, you can collect the Computer Case Number after transfer it to Personal File of a particular Court. 2. On the date of Transfer the Case from Police File to personal file, your Advocate receive Copy of Charge Sheet from the Court, then he can give it to you. 3. Before transfer the Case from Police File to Personal File personal appearance of Accused need not necessary. That's why you did not enter into the Court Room. At present your trial Court has not been settled by the Chief Judicial Magistrate.

Firstly charge sheet is prepared by police, secondly in lower courts updation of websites is irregular, thirdly you can go to the GR section and check for your records, if your lawyer is blocking you from entering court, you are at free will to approach the judge after court hours through court officer and also seek help.

As per your version you are on bail . So, 1st you confirm whether charge sheet has already been submitted by the I. O or not? You may contact with the concern P. S. Or any other lawyer or lawclerk for the purpose. If submit ed you would get a copy of that in due time free of cost. Otherwise you'll obtain a certified copy on payment. Change lawyer if needed.
