Can we file defamation suit or not in the case of fake Google review ?

I am the builder we have JV with the another builder for the development of property Name Y and Y sell property to A and A sell the property to the person who have wrote the defamatory statements on Google review.in fact we have no relation with that building as we have given the said building to another developer name Y and the purchaser is blaming on us so what is the legal remedy ? Can we file a defamation suit against that person
Well, you can certainly file a Defamation Case, as your Company or you are defamed in front of the Society. In your case, as you are defamed via Google Review, you can certainly file a Civil as well as a Criminal Lawsuit.

Please note to invoke Defamation charges the statement made must be in writing or words spoken in general public and that statement must be false in terms of facts to make out a case of Defamation.
