Yes an offence for abetment of suicide can be registered against the abettor /instigator under 306 IPC. It will take at least 1 year for the trial ti finish . Mention the reasons and the name of the abettor and the reason for which he is forcing the boy to commit suicide.

Yes, the charges will be filed under Sec. 306 r.w. Sec. 511 of the IPC. Here Section 511 will be charges with the actual offence Section 306.
And the punishment will be half of which is given in Sec. 306 i.e. 5 years.

Hello, section 306 of the Indian Penal Code deals with the abetment of the suicide but the section only comes into force when there is a suicide, I mean when someone commits suicide not before that. So as of now you can't register a FIR against the person on the charge of abetment of suicide but there may be other sections applicable which depends on the evidence which you have at present, and if you only want to threaten the other person then the legal notice will also help.
