Can I represent my 7 years old minor kid in MC , Inspite

26-Mar-2025 (In Criminal Law)
Hello All, Need urgent advice here. I live in Mumbai and I am the member of Managing Committee of our society . There is dispute among the residents of the building regarding the playing of small kids . One group of people keeps threatening and abusing the very small kids and their parents to stop the kids paying. Now MC has decided to call one meeting for this matter by inviting all kids parents vs concerned residents . I want to attend this meeting as a mother of small kid not as MC member .

Yes , you should attend the meeting as a parent of the kids and put forward your opinion and concerns regarding your children. You may opt not to act a member of managing committee but as a parent in the meeting

You can definitely attend the meeting representing as a parent of your child. At the same time you would be regarded as a MC member. You will by default attend as a MC member and in the minutes of the meeting you can record your opinions and objections as a Parent
