Can i be caught by the police for doing so,

By mistake I sent a 18+ image to a random person, what if the person was a minor and he complaint about me in police, can I be in a trouble on in some kind of issue please help
what kind of images have you sent to the person?
have you apologized to the said person?
if the pictures are obscene and the recover wish to file complaint then he/she may but you can contest it saying that by mistake u sent it
