Can I ask the witness to give his deposition during cross in writing?

07-Feb-2023 (In Criminal Law)
The witness CW1 is not trustworthy witness. He gave false 161 statement to police, he gave different version on same issue to the Karnataka Human Rights Commission reply to police typed in word document and he signed on the letter under authorized signature. Now he will appear in court to give his statement during cross-examination while contradiction will be pointed out. Further, can I ask him to give his deposition during cross-examination in writing with his signature will the magistrate permit it?

Dear Sir, If the other party giving different versions before different authorities then you can confront earlier statement at the time of Cross examination. But you cannot ask the witness to submit his written statement and magistrate never allow such request.
