Can I apply for government job if a case is going on me ?

Sir My friend passed away in Feb 2017 in a train incident.the police registered a accident case.but later their family members filed case on us friends that we did it.the police taken a statement regarding that and not even contacted us for the last 10 months.i don't know if there is any case running or not.am i now eligible for central govt jobs .i will there be any problem in it.
Police taken statement from his parents and they will investigate. If required they will call you. Do not worry you can apply for Govt jobs. At that time you need to give police verification certificate. if you need any help you can contact an Advocate (Local) he will help you to find the process of case investigation.

As you stated even if any case is Regis teed against you & your friends there is no legal hurdle in respect of your eligibility for central or state government job.
