Can I apply for government job if a case is going on me ?

Sir My friend passed away in Feb 2017 in a train incident.the police registered a accident case.but later their family members filed case on us friends that we did it.the police taken a statement regarding that and not even contacted us for the last 10 months.i don't know if there is any case running or not.am i now eligible for central govt jobs .i will there be any problem in it.

Police taken statement from his parents and they will investigate. If required they will call you. Do not worry you can apply for Govt jobs. At that time you need to give police verification certificate. if you need any help you can contact an Advocate (Local) he will help you to find the process of case investigation.

Dear, Check with the police about the status of the criminal complaint. If your late friend's family members are not interested in pursuing further with the complaint, ask the police to mediate and close the complaint if the police did not register an FIR yet. If the police has registered an FIR, then compound the case in the trial court or file for quashing the FIR in the high court based on the mutual compromise agreement arrived between you and the complainants. Once you are clean, you will be eligible for govt jobs.

you dont worry I think police recorded statement only for future verification or as a witness only I think so. if you have any doubt cont police , is there any criminal case or MOTOR vehicle case is pending cont advocate

Dear. 80917 As you stated even if any case is Regis teed against you & your friends there is no legal hurdle in respect of your eligibility for central or state government job. Un less you are convicted in the case under certain sections of INdian penal codes S.nizami Advocate
