Can I apply for government job after being accused of 306

I am accused of 306. And I am married recently. I've completed my BE could you please let me know if i can apply for the government job? If I can, in what sector or department?

Punishment - 10 Years + Fine
This is a Non-Bailable, Cognizable offence .
This offence in NOT compoundable.
You can apply for any job , it will effect only if you are convicted under the respective crime U/s 306 IPC.

Hi,
Regarding your query.
As you have mentioned that you have only been 'Accused' under Section 306 IPC, there is no bar on you for applying for a government job.
As long as the trial is pending you can submit your application for a government job. However, your job will only be affected if you are declared guilty in such a trial.
