Can criminal trial be stayed till perjury is decided

The complainant has claimed two different status or the same place in two different FIRs at the same time i.e. house and plot where the alleged incident happened, which is not possible. But the trial court is saying that it is not concerned with the status of the place but crime only. Is there any provision or order where perjury should be decided first otherwise whole trial will be futile. Please suggest.

generally the perjury application is decided at the final stage of the criminal trial along with the final arguments, therefore, there are less chances that the matter shall be stayed, till the time, perjury application is decided
