Bribe for contract job at government office.

It happened two years ago during covid time.I was working at a nbfc.Unfortunately i was laid off from my job during covid as my company was doing cost cutting.I met my childhood friend at a bank.Ge promised me if i pay him 270000 rupees he would manage to get a contract job at state govt office.I gave him this money in 6 installments.He did not help me get this job and now he is not returni g my money.What to do?

dear client as per your query since you gave the amount to your friend in good faith for completing your work but your friend is refusing to return back your amount you need to send legal notice to him for returning your amount or you may file a case..
