You can always approach the police station according to your jurisdiction and file a complaint to register a FIR under section 69 according to the new law. If the police officials fail to entertain you then you can always file a petition with the magistrate.

Hi. You can file a criminal complaint against the boy for cheating, physical relations on the pretext of false promise to marry, abatement to suicide etc. The complaint will get registered as FIR in the police station.

The situation described involves serious legal and emotional implications. The girl can take the following legal actions against the boy and his family: Legal Actions Against the Boy: 1. Cheating (Section 415 & 417 IPC): If the boy entered into a physical relationship by falsely promising marriage and later refused, the girl can file a case of cheating. 2. Rape on False Promise of Marriage (Section 376 IPC): If the physical relationship was established based on a promise of marriage that the boy never intended to fulfill, this could amount to rape under Indian law. 3. Abetment to Abortion (Section 312 IPC): If the girl was coerced or pressured into aborting the child, the boy could be charged with abetment of abortion. 4. Breach of Promise and Engagement: Though breaking an engagement is not a criminal offense, it may give rise to a civil suit for mental agony and financial losses incurred by the girl or her family during the engagement. You can file a case of rape on the pretext of false of marriage, that would be the most severe one. if he threatens you , you can file a case for criminal intimidation and outraging the modesty of woman and you can file a complaint under dowry prohibition act too .
